Welcome to AS G. Hartmann

AS G. Hartmann is one of the oldest companies in its business sector. The company was established already in 1889 by Gustav Hartmann, one of that ages well known entrepreneurs. He established i.a. P.O. Box system in Norway; that’s the reason for we today have the address P.O. Box 1. Through years steam engines, helicopters, aircrafts and other heavy machines has been sold by Hartmann, but today sale, service and calibration of equipment for material testing are the core business.

The company sells equipment both for NDT (Non Destructive Testing) and DT (Destructive Testing). Moreover, we also do service and calibration on all equipment sold by the company. We are one of very few approved for accredited calibration of equipment for DT.

Since the last few years our company had cooperation with the Chinese company Nuctech. Nuctech is a world leading producer of high energy x-ray systems for cargo scanning at boarders and harbours. Lately they are also developing small x-ray scanners for goods and luggage. This cooperation has untaught a growing business for Hartmann, since we have established several service branches in Europe.

Hartmann is owned by Ing. Yngve Ege AS. We have office facilities in Oslo and Bergen, totally 13 employers and a turnover of approx EUR 5.000.000,-.
